As an author, speaker, and abuse recovery coach, Julie has long been involved in ministry. This does not mean that she’s always had her act together and been the perfect role model for other people. In fact, she has waded through more struggles than anyone else she’s known. Her training and varied life experiences give her unique perspective, wisdom, and genuineness.
As a living example of the phrase “God makes beauty from ashes,” Julie draws abundant inspiration for her speaking, writing, and daily ministry work.
What else is Julie so busy doing?
1. Providing coaching services lights her up with passion and purpose. She is more than just a survivor of abuse and trauma—she is a certified advocate with hundreds of hours of specialized training in abuse recovery and healing. Julie has also received training in abuse intervention and has extensive experience in the business world, specializing in management and marketing.
2. Julie is also the current President of Cascade Christian Writers, previously Oregon Christian Writers. She leads a Board of Directors and over 300 members to help them write well, publish, and follow the specific mission God has for each of them.
3. Last but certainly not least, Julie writes and speaks. She is an award-winning author who has sold thousands of her books. She is a frequent guest on varied podcasts and also makes other appearances.
